Big boo boo that Daddy can't kiss
Katie fell down today and got a big boo-boo on her elbow. I know her Daddy wants to kiss it and doctor it up for her, but my gentle touch will have to do for now.
The countdown begins
As you may or may not know, my husband left for South Korea today. He will be there until December, come home for 30 days, then off again until June.
You may also know that I am pregnant with our 4th child. I'm due in September but we've decided to request his mid-tour for Christmas because of the kids. Those first weeks with a newborn are crazy and sleep deprived. We'll have a good routine set and little Shelby will be 3 months old and well adjusted. Let's just hope we get the time frame we asked for and the time passes quickly.

Sweet babies
Katie really is a great big sister. She's thrilled when Brady smiles at her, she's always singing a sweet song to him and is forever trying to give him a kiss (on his head because she's afraid if she gets anywhere near his mouth, he'll throw up on her).
I love my sweet babies.
Slowing things down a bit
I have decided to join a group of women doing a 52 weeks photo blog.
Our first assignment was due on Friday, and it was to do a self portrait. This is not as easy as it looks. (well, not for me anyway.)
This is not my best work, but I do think it's the most flattering shot I got of myself.

Today Brady laughed for the first time. It didn't sound like that cute baby laugh, but you could tell it was coming from the belly. Belly laughs are the best!

I love sneaking up on Katie and seeing what she does when she thinks no one's looking.
Here, she was cleaning the bathroom with a spray bottle. This little girl has the biggest imagination and personality I have ever seen.
